My D150A is an odd "non-purists'" power amp. Solid state, obviously hand-wired point-to-point for everything except the stuff on the PCBs. I bought it because I thought it sounded good, and cost a lot less than a tube-type McIntosh, back in the day.
With a pair of JBL Century 100's (made in Michigan) hooked upand fed by my own "reverse-engineered" custom phono preamp (made in my basement), a Technics commercial TT (made in Japan) and a Shure SME tonearm (made in USA), it makes great music. Still.
