I was doing the oil and some other things on one of the 9Ks today. It's a daughter's car and needs a few things including a LF wheel bearing (just ordered a Timken). But the thing still goes when I stand on the loud pedal, holds all her mountains of outdoor gear and basically works fine at 17 years old and 171K miles.

My own 9K will hit 200K sometime this winter or in early spring. The wagon at 115K and the 9-3 at 168K just keep rolling, needing normal stuff as they age.

People ask me what I'll get when they die. Other than buying another used Saab I have no real idea. We can get another car. That's easy. But you can't replace a Saab. We've had them since 1984.
