The obvious answers to that are
- single speed transmissions can't f-up a shift
- electric motors are not subject to sub-optimal fuel and atmospheric conditions, which is likely the real answer. You better believe that v10 has issues with anything but the best atmospheric conditions. Look at other drag times for that car, they don't make the factory stated specs.
