Isn't clutch necessary only when engine is running? Tow trucks do have front wheel dollies but be very skeptical of their use. I was at a Saab repair facility last Thursday and a 9-5 wagon came in on a flatbed. This was its second delivery for the same coolant leak problem.
The first time the car arrived it was delivered on front wheel dollies, and the dollie connecting pipes had broken the oil pan when the tow truck hit a major bump. The towing company had some other company replace the broken sump rather than the former Saab Dealership where they were delivering the car.
