9-3 Aero = 279 000 SEK
Honda Accord Sedan, base = 229 900, but if you wanted an automatic and 17" wheels etc, it is 279 900
Ok, shipping cars from Japan maybe makes them relatively pricey... VW Golf starts at 174 900, Passat at 246 900. Audi A4 284 900
The other domestic... S60 starts at 241 000 SEK in the most basic specification. The 9-3 is the Aero.
Basically the car is priced relatively competitively for Sweden. It doesn't make any sense to translate that number through the currency exchange rate to extrapolate US pricing. All that does is show you that cars are stupidly expensive in Sweden! You have to wait until they ship here to find out what they cost, or extrapolate based on the real world prices of those other cars...
