as others have stated, one size may not fit all conditions.
The shovel I've used for 90% of my shoveling for the past several years is a Suncast similar to the link. Mine has a handle that looks like wood.
This wouldn't be my first choice for 2' of show, a scoop-type would be appropriate. Someone mentioned a smaller (than 27") pusher for heavier snow, but I say just take less of a bite.
I have a smaller, all plastic (no metal scraper strip) for the deck.
