I'm not sure by how much, but I would expect the coolant to generally be exposed to higher temperatures. The coolant IS perhaps seeing better heat rejection at the radiator than any oil cooler (which I guess SAAB's don't have).
Then since we have turbo-chargers, it sees quite a bit of heat there.
OK, I've talked myself out of my supposition, maybe they are (basically) the same. I don't know if the temp sensor is before or after the radiator.
