Both are anti-drainback style filters with an 8 psig by-pass valve. Both use the same sealing gasket and 3/4-16 thread. The Saturn filter is 1/16 of an inch smaller in diameter but 1-3/16 inches longer.
Provided you can accommodate the increased filter length it should work.
I assumed a Saturn SL model for comparison and discovered the Saturn filter fits some Onan and Kohler engines, as well as Saabs! Was this a trick question?
