The climate is constantly in flux. I blame normal solar cycles, myself. Yes, it's in everyone's best interest to pollute less but we've reached a point in prosperous western countries in which CO2 is now considered a 'pollutant.' China is a whole 'nuther question...

As for all those predictive models shouting doom and gloom, one of my jobs before I became a manager was finite element modeling of various structures. You could pretty much design the model to drive the result to the answer you wanted and these types of models, as compared to, say, computational fluid dynamics models of airflow over a complex shape, were relatively simply. I have little or no confidence that few if any of the alarmist climate models have the boundary conditions correct or the constants they need to any degree of accuracy.

The winter many are experiencing Back East reminds me of the winters I had as a kid back in the 60s near Boston. The snow was up to my knees all winter long. Of course, I was three feet tall at the time.
