Back in the day, I recall an article where a Swedish auto dealer was lamenting the fact that Swedish teens preferred imported Camaros and TransAms, and couldn't understand why they weren't interested at all in the local products? Duh.
Kids today like living in cities, where cars are a hassle. Plus, cars are really expensive to own, insure and maintain. They just don't have the cash to waste on cars like we did. Totally different from earlier generations when we all dreamed of getting a drivers license.
