Half of page 18 is a photo of one of the many hot rods/Detroit Classics owned by one of my former bosses. The green Olds wagon is actually his wife's cruiser. They bought this car in its current configuration from an artist (the 'rusty' roof is actually only paint to look like rust) but he has built many others. He usually needs help from his entire extended family each year so that each of his cars get driven during the Dream Cruise.

The driver in the photo doesn't appear to be my boss or his wife. He was probably driving his recently finished '39 Chevy Convertible in this year's Dream Cruise. And to the knowledgeable purists who will argue that there were no Chevrolet convertibles produced in 1939, you are correct. He built his own.
