The lineup was: The James Gang (what was left of them w/o Joe Walsh), J Geils, Boston (just before they made it big), and then Robin Trower.
I also managed to catch the Rolling Stones at the LA Coliseum in 1981 with J Geils and George Thorogood. The best part? The opening act was 'The Artist Known at the Time as Prince.' The genius came out in a G-string and a leather trench coat and sang crowd pleasers like 'Let Me J--- U Off.' Did not go well. Like putting a pork chop in front of a Doberman of a crowd, etc. He was booed off the stage not too long after his set began. Good times, indeed.
