I entered my 1971 Sonett III in the local car show sponsored by the city for the first time last month (this is the 3rd year of the show). I did not win an award (did not expect to as my Sonett could use a repaint) but my little Saab got as much (if not more interest) from show attendees than a beautifully restored 1941 Ford pickup parked right next to me that did win a best in show award.
I heard everything from , "Wow! I have not seen one of those in years," to "What is that?!?" I almost wore out my voice repeating history of the Sonett as a model and information Saab in general. It was also a big hit with kids.
