Not only will every nere-do-well know what the facility is, but the developers are relying on sales to the initial purchasers to finance the project. Risk of vehicle impoundment by bankers due to default of developer?
I won't be doing this but am still astounded by the prices. That is the cause of my curiosity regarding prices in other areas. Both projects I know of in the Detroit area are being built on brown-field sites (demolished GM factory sites) and probably qualify for State and/or Federal redevelopment grants.
