And it makes a big difference wrt the 2 tone vs a single colour.

See link below for a super complete wheel database (I like the other one at tripod.net also, but this is more complete and has offsets etc listed).

So your pictures 1 and 2 are both Aero wheels and what you are trying to do is make them look like the version that is darker with the polished lip (105123707) rather than the all silver version (105123723). If you want to be authentic, you could take the number stamped into the back of the wheel and paint it appropriately for the part number, but that may be just a bit too crazy for most people ;-).

I would say go with whatever you like. I repainted some 9-5 17" rims to be a carbon colour from the duplicolor wheel paint selection. Really what I wanted was a "titanium" colour and there wasn't really one available. Personally I found carbon (or graphite or whatever it was called) a bit too dark - almost black. I would think a titanium colour would look very nice either 2 tone or for the whole wheel... btw, I've repainted 2 sets of wheels and I don't sandblast or try to remove all the paint - I just sand and clean really well. Then prime with self etching, do the colour coats, then clear. Results have been good, and held up well - no peeling so far and they go through winter salt slush sand.

That said, if you really have super aeros, they are a different shape than the aeros, and the deep dished curvature is 1) a little harder to spray, and 2) not conducive to 2 toning unless you go for only the outer edge polished - you need a sharp edge somewhere to change tone, not on a curve. Afaik, the super aeros were never 2 toned from the factory.

Finally, it is important to remember that the offset for all these wheels is different than for the stock c900 wheels, so the wheel will stick out of the fender more. The wheel is 6.5" wide instead of 5.5" and the difference in offset is 11mm or about 0.5"... Aside from the rubbing issues, this may look a bit too wide for some people. I have a set of super aeros in my garage awaiting a paint job and new tires for a c900... and I'm debating whether it is worth it - I love the shape, a true classic, but the width makes them look like they aren't quite right, and then there is the risk of rubbing (depending on tire size and car stance) - rubbing paint in fenders is really bad news up here in the salt belt! I think SPG trim may help add some depth to the fender that makes them look more in place.

anyway, just my thoughts. Good luck!
