I want to get a porter cable 7424xp and need to find out what pads to buy with it. My immediate plan is to wax the cars as I always did, applying by hand and then use the p/cable to remove the wax. (Its the removal part that my shoulders complain about the next day.) I looked around and saw the lambs wool pads, the polish pads and the others that look like different application pads with different levels of cutting. Also there are different sizes, basically 5 and 6 inch. So I need to find out which pad and what size would be best for the wax removal. I figure I have all winter to learn more about the process and the capabilities of the p/c polisher. Thanks.
