My wife needs a car to commute in and we ended up with a 2014 CPO Volvo S60 Premium. Power Blue on beige leather with a sunroof, 8900 miles on the clock, and 5-cyl turbo.

Flew to Seattle to pick it up -- Hawaii car originally -- and drove it back to LA. Very comfortable, but brakes are a bit soft compared to our SAABs and it's not as sporty, either.

Still a very nice car and we got a screaming deal on it. We were treated extremely professionally by AutoNation Volvo Bellevue -- no games, hidden charges, or BS. Top notch dealership, etc.

I was leaning towards a Buick Regal GS but the wife killed any thought of driving a Buick, and I killed any thoughts of her driving a VW so the Volvo was a compromise, of sort. Still keeping our two SAABS with the 2010 9-3 SS hopefully going to my 14-3/4 year old in two years. May move my '06 9-3 SC by the end of this year.
