We Have a New Website

This site will host preregistration as well as all of the other features from our old website, just in a more modern wrapper. This site will be one stop shopping for all of your Carlisle needs: registration, schedules, The What to Bring List, and an archive of all these emails.
Special Guests
Traveling to SAABs@Carlisle for the first time all the way from Fort Dodge, Iowa is Tom Donney of Tom Donney Motors. And he's bringing a beauty other than just his wife Patti, the 1960 RAC winning, 1961 Hershey Hill-climbing, and Monte Carlo name-inspiring two-stroke 96 factory rally car. In addition to showing the car, Tom will be available to talk about two-strokes, the quirky loves of so many, as well as his Saab Heritage Museum USA. This is his recently begun non-profit whose mission it is to educate and preserve these cars as a group for future generations to enjoy.
Another first-time attendee and honored guest is John Moss of Connecticut. Many of you will know John from owners conventions - he does the best auctions! - or other Saab gatherings. With 37 years of Saab Technical Training under his belt, John will give a presentation "about Saab and its people, which being such a small company, were pretty much one and the same thing." We are certain this will be a not-to-miss session!
The date has changed!
The dates have been moved back one week from what we originally reported to May 20-21-22, 2016. Carlisle Import & Kit Nationals is being merged with Carlisle Performance & Style to become the Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals. If you are a long-time attendee, we've been assured that this is not the same crowd as 15 years ago when they tried to combine the Import and Tuner shows, and there will definitely not be a stereo competition. We will not be losing any of the Import show events, and may actually find a few more of interest to our group.
The only potential complication is that this weekend is the same as Dickinson College's commencement, so hotel rooms in Carlisle may be more difficult to find. Here is a link to Carlisle Events lodging suggestions (http://www.carlisleevents.com/carlisle-events-hotels-and-lodging/default.aspx).
Preregistration is coming....
Preregistration will be hosted on our new website, centralpennsaabclub.com (http://www.centralpennsaabclub.com/). We anticipate opening around the first week of March and closing after roughly one month. Stay tuned for the official announcement.
