Yes, he did post the car on eBay with no reserve. The fact is that sometimes sellers do not come through. I just paid for a pair of boots and they never got shipped or delivered. The simple and easy solution is that I filed a claim and eBay returned my money. It happens on eBay, but not very often. Since the seller had no feedback, I'm assuming he didn't realize or know how to put a reserve - in other words, he doesn't exactly understand how eBay works.

Sorry this happened to you. Please let us know the outcome of your dispute after eBay has finished dealing with it in the resolution center. I know that takes time to happen.
