many do (oil sprays are more common than ziebart here, but yeah)... those are probably the ones that aren't so rusty... but certain models of cars rust faster. Mazda3 especially was prone to this. Untreated, they crumble into dust in about 5 years, and many of them new were "crying tears of rust" on the back hatch within a year of production... one veloster I know of in particular was doing this 6 months after velosters were released in our region!

Most of the euro brands use more galvanization these days, but then the paint peels more easily (hard to adhere to galvanized metal). The old primer in c900's and 9000's was tenacious, so if it wasn't damaged, rust was slow to happen, but cars always get little nicks and scratches from use, so rust proofing is a must around here!
