Having used both, I'd say PureContact if you're using them year-round.

ExtremeContact-DWS in 17" on my car (2010 9.3 wagon), and I switch to snow tires in winter. These have gotten noisy now that they are getting worn out. But my tires are not the latest DWS-06... so I'm undecided which to get next.

We have PureContact on my wife's car (16" on 2009 9.3 sedan) and they are good enough that she doesn't need snow tires in NE Ohio. She also doesn't pretend it's a sports-car like I do with mine. They are smoother, quieter, and better in snow; but part of that is due to the size.
