All of Justins points are valid. Brakes -- if you are going over mountain passes, then make sure you have ample brakes and a good tow vehicle.
Like the photo you showed, those are battle worthy tanklike platforms, they don't lend themselves to easy loading / unloading.
#1 CONCERN -- the fenders interfere with opening the doors to the car. Get a setup where the fender is hinged so you can EASILY unlatch the fender and it just swings down so when the car door opens, you can get in the car, otherwise it opens only enough to let your cat in for lunch.
#2 CONCERN -- ramps -- the trailer shown probably has boiler plate heavy duty trailer ramps. They are a royal pain in the back to use if you take the car on and off the trailer a lot, you'll want a tiltbed type trailer.
Look into Featherlite or better yet, if you can find one, a Gold Rush. That is the cats meow trailer, but those are enclosed I think. I'm not sure I've seen a Gold Rush ( made in Pennsylvania ) in a flatbed. The construction is unmatched, the price reflects it.
At the racetrack this weekend, it seems like the most popular trailer was a tilting Featherlite with 12 volt battery winch.
