My mom replaced trusty 40yo Kitchen Aid with a new one and had nothing but problems. She would use it maybe once a week as she was 90 and alone. The main circuit board kept blowing. After 6mo or yr warranty expired, parts were covered but $75 charge for labor. Ended up spending $300 in one year, all the while calling retailer and factory complaining of lemon. Sold house and left the paper work with new owner to argue.
I just replaced our trusty vintage KA with Bosch. Wife loves it even though it does not wash as many dishes per load.
