A number a month ago, The Journal of Accountancy (AICPA's monthly), featured a review of Nomorobo (link below).

While my cell phone is thankfully pretty clean, my home phone was getting bombarded. Since I have VOIP at home, I gave it a try (its free for land lines).

Work's great! It has easily cut the number of calls that get through by at least 3/4's. A few stray ones still get through, but nothing like before.

Community notices from the town, doctor's reminders, etc. all come through, but even all the political robocalls were a fraction of what they were in past years this election cycle.

Just need to develop a discipline to not answer on the first ring.
