I can see any insulation on a window overnight helping keep it a bit warmer inside... though it might only make a tiny difference.
Good to hear those work. I normally just start the car, blast the heat on the windshield and turn on the defrosting elements, then brush the snow off and finally scrape the windows if still needed - the ice mostly falls right off as soon as the window gets a bit warm. My garage is full of old saabs also!! Maybe I just need a bigger garage?
