It's not one of those ones that automatically resets when it cools down? I am not familiar with the Samsungs, but that is what is used on Bosch. The problem with older bosches was lint would eventually leak into the heater and cause it to overheat tripping the fuse. cleaning lint throughly would fix that usually.
The lint coating on the thermistor would mean it would read a bit low and that could definitely be a factor in tripping the fuse.
The word I got re Samsung is that they were selling their washer/drier combos at a very low price to kill the competition, but that serviceablity was an issue. I'm sure for some people, they do last well and were good value for money, but that is what I was told by someone who sold them for a living. I think their strategy has worked though, as I believe Bosch has pulled out of the North American washer/dryer market - not profitable to compete!
