Should not need Tech 2 for tpms. Even with Tech 2 new sensors can take a day of driving to actually pair. Sometimes its almost immediate with or without and sometimes its slow. If Costco has one of the TPMS testers like a Bartec they should be able to diagnose a non working sensor. Good Luck, Bernie
