Well, I was kidding when I said, "I wouldn't be caught dead in one", because I actually have one, and had it listed as one of my cars in my signature -- but nobody got the joke. So whatever.
Anyway, I just finished rejuvenating a 2007 4.2 that I bought last year with 200K miles. I bought it as a curiosity and to be my winter beater. This was mostly highway mileage, and the previous owner took really good care of it. With these many miles I replaced the struts, the four sway bushings and all links. I noticed the OE bushings were "made in Mexico". It suffers from GM quality issues, but everything works. With all the contemporary features of a newer SUV I like it. It's rides great now with the new suspension pieces. But it's not an extraordinary vehicle.
