I bought 2 from eE (like that acronym btw) years ago since I consider them a regular maintenance item on high mileage vehicles and they were such a great price which I don't remember anymore. I just checked and they had no maker's id but they are both genuine GM, OE Saab. Made in the US of A is the only clue I can give you. Perhaps Saab had a big surplus of units or like automakers sometimes do - they discount parts that really, really should be replaced but they don't want to admit liability. That said, the only issue I have heard of is that a failing/failed MAF can fry cylinder 1 valves like bacon and also? ruin your CAT. Can't recall all the nitty gritty.
