I'm having that same problem with connecting the spring connectors. I eventually got them together. I sat in the car for about an hour just going through it and seeing what I can do. I had no problems what so ever with it. I feel like this is the best money I have ever spent on anything. I don't remember ever feeling this satisfied about buying anything I've ever purchased. I going to order a GM card now that I'm sure it works, I have a friend that has a 02 Caddy Deville that's having some computer problems. Yes totally worth the money.

I also have an old laptop that I was on the verge of getting rid of. Its not that old but it's just old enough. I has a serial port and it has a pcmcia card slot.

I do have to get that software as my wife has a 07 9-5 and I will need the security to do anything with her car.

I also will be erasing the old computer and installing windows XP on it. It has windows 7 but its not an official version so I dont know if the widows 7 emulator will work or not on it.
