Ya sure, GM hates turbo and innovation, they only:

-Made the first two turbocharged cars on the market
-Beat Saab to market in the 1970s with the '78 Regal turbo
-Put a turbo in one of their premier sport offering in 1980 with the Pontiac Trans Am Turbo
-Produced one of the most iconic '80s turbo cars with the Buick GN/GNX
-Put a turbo in the Trans Am again in the mid '80s
-Made a crazy turbo sport truck in the '90s (GMC Cyclone/Typhoon)
-Some largely forgotten '80s/90s turbo stuff like the Pontiac Sunbird
-Giant killer Chevy Cobalt SS turbo from he aughts along with some turbo sports cars, Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky

But sure, if your smug bias tells you so, GM hates turbos and had nothing to do with bringing them to a mainstream market
