Getting around to a HG on my 91T hatch. Nice car except there is a rust in the cooling system. 8-10 years ago I had two white turbo hatchbacks. The 91T is an auto while the other a 5 speed got most of the driving. I didn't realize the 91T had a very slight HG leak. Then there e was a house fire that shut things down for 3 years. When I got to the 91 the cooling system had rusted. It's a pretty heavy coating of the system internals. Is there a good derusting process for the cooling system? I've used oxalic acid in the past. Some online comments suggest Evaporust. Anyone have recent experience with the products I've suggested and could share detail? Like how much for how long and neutralizing methods.
