And, I founded a second non-profit in 2020.
#GivingTuesday Run Club Menlo Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides an after-school long-distance running program for kids ages 7-13. This Fall Season 2022 (cross-country), we had 12 of our kids on scholarships so they could easily participate in the program. Kids in our program get to experience and learn about running at a high level. While we practice in a non-competitive environment, there are opportunities for these kids to race in local, regional, and even national events. If needed, we'll provide training shoes, we have a racing shoes program so kids can try real racing shoes in races, and even help with travel. Helps us to continue to keep this program available to all kids who want to find out that running is for them!
