Returned last night after eight days in Sweden — visited Jonkoping, Norrkoping, Stockholm, and Uppsala.
Very happy to see vast quantities of sport wagons throughout instead of SUVs. There were still surprisingly large numbers of 9-3 and 9-5 wagons, as well as the usual Volvo variants. Mixed in, though, were Mazdas, Fords, BMWs, Skodas, VWs, Hondas, etc. A few diesels.
Other cars included a fair number of Teslas and 60s-era US convertibles (the weather was warm and sunny).
I’d love to have the sport wagon choices they have there.
Unleaded regular was running between 19-21 SEK/liter (~10.4 SEK/USD right now). Didn’t notice diesel prices.
