Yankee thrift. Run them into the ground. I lived in southern NH and we had several daily driver 9000's. I bought my 96 9000 Aero out of Westbrook, ME. Now I'm in SW Michigan and still have four 9000's and an 02 9-5 Aero. I drive by two 9-3 verts on the way to work and one of the guys at work has a 2010 (I think) 9-5.
