Coolnight - I put 60,000 hard, fast miles in 2 years on a '99 A6 Avant with zero problems, zero rattles, absolutely highest quality. I personally tried to wear out the tiptronic feature (I had to, it's so underpowered at altitude). Having owned the Audi and now my third Saab, I think Audi's build quality is much higher. I would still have the Avant if Audi would just put a motor in it here in the states.
