Bud,
The Saab 4-cylinder engine can easily go 250,000 miles (about 400k km), so you should be able to double this car's life with no major engine work (another 200k km at least). In the States we don't get LPG cars, but they have a reputation for being longer lasting than gasoline engines because they run cooler and the fuel burns more cleanly. I have a friend in the propane business who gets extremely long life from his propane-converted company pickup trucks.
If you regularly change your fluids (engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant) and get routine tuneups, this car should last a long time.
I don't know what engine "re-newal" might be (maybe engine "decarboning"?) but unless this car has been neglected or abused, standard maintenance should be all you need. Have all your fluids changed now and continue to maintain the car properly in the future.
Good luck,
--Rick '99 9-5 SE V6
