To add my 33 (oops, 34) cents:

I love mine because all of the ones I have owned are unique, beautiful, smooth, solid [closing the doors is like closing a bank vault], fast, stable, forgiving, demanding, and, sometimes, inscruitable. Mine have all been dependable, and when something goes wrong, bringing them back to life or back to health is a straightforward process. The ergonomics of the cockpit is A-1.

I'm on my 4th Classic 900. Two of them have given their lives to save my wife and myself. One of them died of old age when I could no longer care for it at 213k miles. And my 4th is a gloriously fast '89 900T SPG that I hunted all over the country for after its predecessor was totalled by a semi.

The SAAB engineers and designers took their own route when they developed these cars.
