That probably be excess hydrogen sulphide and is probably from the catalytic converter. It could be a bad cat or something else in the emission control or engine management system. I understand that some converters have a very small tolerance for proper operation and that with certain gasoline formulations and operating conditions the problem may occur. In this case simply switching brands of gas can help correct the problem, otherwise, get it checked out.
