The ozone issue is not realted to Carbon Dioxide. The Carbon Dioxide supposedly makes the earth retain heat, thus warming the environment.
The depleted ozone layer is cause by certain solvents and gases such as Freon. This allows certain light ray types to reach earth that were once filtered out by the ozone layer. This does not make more heat, it just makes the sun rays more dangerous.
