1985 SAAB 900 SPG Turbo with 273K miles.
Engine: Mobil 1 synthetic 15W-50 +bottle of duralube, Mobil 1 Oil Filter
Trans: Penzoil 10W-40 +bottle of Prolong trans. treatment
Works great for me &my high mileage SAAB.
I used to go to "Prompto 10 min. oil change" every 3K, but about a month ago I started doing it myself, the oil consistently was coming out DIRTY, and when I had it changed at Prompto, from time to time I would be a little low on oil by the time the next time an oil change. I used some stuff made by "snap" called "4-minute engine flush", you put it in with your engine oil, let it run for 4-minutes, then drain. I also chaged the oil about 3 times in the corse of a week (I used somke cheaper oil), this helped clean the engine out imensley.
Now, when oil change time comes around (every 3K), the oil still looks pretty clean.
