In 1995 I received some junk mail from them in which they claimed to be the only auto insurance company to receive a 1-A (or whatever the top rating is) from A.B. Gile. Yea, so they say, thought I, but I went to the library and looked up the article in the A.B. Gile magazine. By gosh, they were telling the truth. So I filled out the application, was accepted, and got the same coverage I had before through an independent agent (who said he finds the lowest rates) for about $120/year less.

When some bastard broke the back window on my 900-S they promptly came through, and even reduced my premium something $37 they next time it came due.

So, yes, I'm pleased with them and plan to keep them.
