I have grown totally fed up with US car magazines. They are in the back pockets of the manufacturers. You will never see an opinionated article form any of them. They don't even damn with faint praise, let alone totally pan a car. Every piece of garbage is rewarded with, at minimum, a semi-glowing review.
Motor Trend is abysmal, Car and Driver woefully inconsistent, Road and Track has interesting racing stuff but BORING car reviews, and Automobile, which used to be interetsing, has sunk to churning out annual Chrysler sponsored issues (featuring Chrysler ads masquerading as road trip pieces).
What total garbage.
The British magazine Car is much, much better; too bad they don't really review many US model cars.
