Old Athlon 650 w/ 384MB RAM here. Since I do computer work for other people it's good to know and use what everyone else is using, same for doing programming for school (I'm a comp sci major).
Was wondering if anyone on here has installed a computer system in their Saab... I've been thinking about it for quite a while, mainly for MP3 and GPS, but haven't had the time or the $$$ to tackle it. The funny part was I was thinking about it on the way to work today and came home and there was a post on Slashdot about the DashPC. If I was going to do it I think I'd use a regular PC, probably with Win2K or Linux, a little LCD screen on the dash, and a keyboard + pointing device that swung out from the dash. Not sure how I'd do it, but I think that would be the ideal setup for the 9K.
On a somewhat related note, still looking for input on the new Uniden GPSRD radar detector (radar w/ built-in GPS, see my other post)
