If VOB buys something they are going to make a profit. They probly bought the stuff at some local tire shop and increased the price to make a profit. I would have to say $235 is quite high though but it doesn't surprize me.

Now not to rub salt in the wounds but if you did buy that tire at Tire Rack and had it ship to Viking Eric & Jay would have had charge someware in the ballpark of $30-20 dollars to mount. Your total cost would have been $120-110. Thats half of VOB. Bend over.

Now thinking of it I total understand why your upset and you should take the tire back to VOB and return it. Alot of tire store today will actually let you do this within the first 48hrs. I know that they probly just bought the tire at some tire store and well they could return it too at no cost. Then buy the tire from Tire Rack and leave the spare tire on the car. Tuesday or Wednesday the tire should be delivered at Viking and then have the repair done. Instead of bending over for VOB you should tell them to bend over because your not getting F'ed this time.
