Saab vs Mud Stomper

On Friday I was driving my 9kT through a parking lot when a drunk driver in a Chevy full-sized pickup with huge tires (probably about 35") rammed into the side of me. He appeared to be angry because he had to wait for me to drive past before he could pull out, he honked at me as I went past and caught up with me a few blocks later.
I looked over in time to see my side mirror touch the window. I felt the car shake a little but was hardly knocked off course. The truck bounced off the car, and was shaking around violently as he struggled to maintain control. There were no dents but my turn signal was cracked and the quarter panel was bent quite badly. Alignment was fine. I repaired the damage to the mirror on the spot.
Another testament to the rock-solid Saab. =) Unfortunately he took off and I was afraid to pursue (odds are he was a resident of the nearby military base and had a gun somewhere in his truck), which means I have to pay a $500 deductible to repair the damage.
