I was traveling from Pittsburgh, PA to CT on Christmas day. I passed someone in a red VW beetle who was initially traveling in a two vehicle "convoy." After a while, the VW caught up to me and began traveling behind me. I don't like this, however, because I have a radar detector and will slow from 90 to 60 in a second if the detector goes off. I don't want anyone hitting me. So, I tried to lose him by going 110, but I was afraid to go any faster because I had snows on (only rated to 99 mph) and because it's really not safe to go faster than that when there's traffic on the road. He kept up with me, so I slowed to 60. He stayed with me! So, then I punched it back to 110 and easily lost him for a while, but I had to drop back to 90 because of the snows. He caught up to me again. I just got off at the next exit. I got back on after a short while and ended up passing him. This time, he didn't follow me.
I'd be careful, because road rage can get really bad. There are several very bad incidents per year in Arizona.
