Driver training vids, books, inexpensive schools in Posted by bryan [Email] (#542) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bryan) on Fri, 1 Feb 2002 12:21:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Southern California. Not for myself, for a female friend who is an automotive enthusiast, but has had three accidents in two years, all of them her fault, all of them would have been avoidable (IMO) with better defensive driving skills and knowledge. I've tried to share some things with her, I have a feeling I might as well be saying 'blah blah blah blah' by the glazed look in her eyes...lol.
Anyways, her b-day is coming up, and since she's getting a 2002 Miata to replace the 1999 Miata she just totaled (passing a semi on the right, looking way over shoulder instead of using mirrors, looks forward and truck is right in front of her, massive overcorrection and fishtailing on the freeway at 65 mph, stops sideways on the freeway finally and gets T-boned on passenger side), I thought it would be good to either give her some training videos/DVD's, books (although she's not much of a reader), or a weekend car control clinic, aka a lesser version of Bondurant's.
Any titles or info appreciated, thanks in advance,
B
