Took a long lunch and drive across town to check them out.
The 9000 had been backed into something, breaking the tail light lenses and the fiberglass panels beteen them and the bumper. The seats had massive burn holes in them (cloth) and the windshield was cracked side to side.
The turbo convertable was literally a rag-top. It looked like it had been through a papershreader. My guess is its been that way a while judging by the mildew on the seats and carpet.
Lastly the 900 turbo coupe didn't have a single bodypanel without a dent... and I don't mean parking lot dings.
No way ANY of these cars have had decent maint.
While I definately believe the cars in the saabnet classifieds would be the best maintained availiable (part of why we're here right?), we as a group mostly want absolutely top dollar for our cars. Something I'm not in a position to swing right now.
Looks like it's going to be just me and my Leganza for a good long time.
