For example, when doing the 10k or 20k service, they find that my brake pads are worn, and wants to charge $400 to fix it, or worst, fix it and then charge me for it without asking me first? (I can get it done much much cheaper for basic stuff like brake pad change..) Of course, if I refuse to let them do it, and need warranty repairs later, they'll give me trouble.
Also, whats involved in the services? Other than changing the oil and filter? I've talked briefly with a "tech" at the Saab dealership, and I asked him what is involved. The 10K and 20K service seems to be mostly lube this and inspect that kinda deal, where I can probably get it done by Midas or someone for $100.
